Set password policy

Administrator can configure password policy:

minimum length
complexity
maximum password expiration date
timeout for user session
ban on setting previously used passwords
account blocking due to incorrect password entry

To do this:

Open the Settings section.
In the Password policy block, specify the parameters in the fields (values are selected from the drop-down lists).

Password Policy Settings:

Minimum length	The minimum number of characters (6 to 16) that must be in the password
Complexity	Requirements of complexity. Set several restrictions for the selected passwords at once: Latin capital letters (from A to Z); Latin lowercase letters (from a to z); Characters other than letters and numbers (for example,!, $, `#`,%); Numbers (0 to 9)
Session time	Session duration in minutes. If the user does not take any action during this time, Doc.one will ask him to log in again. If you select an empty item, then the session does not close for 365 days. The default value is 120
Maximum password expiration date	The maximum password age in days. Three days before the expiration date, the system will notify the user that it is necessary to change the password. If the user did not manage to change the password, at the next login Doc.one will prompt for a new password
Keep a journal	Password Logging allows you to configure the number of passwords (from 0 to 24) that will be stored in Doc.one’s memory. Each new password must differ from the previous ones by at least one character.
Blocking threshold	Number of consecutive unsuccessful login attempts to Doc.one
Account lockout duration	Number of minutes after which the counter of unsuccessful attempts is reset

Please note that after using all login attempts, the user is locked out. Only the administrator can restore it in the Users section (see more: Unlocking an account).

Warning

If synchronization with Microsoft Active Directory is configured, password policy setting is not available.
